Under 24 hoursThe car is washed thoroughly to remove all loose dirt, then goes through a chemical decontamination process to lift bonded iron fallout, tar, and environmental deposits that a normal wash cannot shift. The surface has to be completely clean before any coating goes near it.
1 to 2 hoursOn every package, the paint is machine polished to reduce swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. There is no point sealing in existing damage under a coating that will last years. This step determines how deep and clear the final result looks.
2 to 6 hours depending on condition and packageBefore any coating is applied, every panel is wiped with a panel prep solution to strip all polish oils and residue. Ceramic coating needs a completely bare, oil-free surface to bond correctly. This step is short but critical.
30 to 45 minutesThe coating is applied panel by panel in a controlled environment, levelled, and allowed to flash before inspection. Each layer is checked for high spots, streaks, or missed areas. Rushing this step is how installers ruin a coating job.
2 to 3 hoursThe coating needs time to cure before the car is exposed to water or contaminants. Michelle walks you through exactly what to do and what to avoid in the first week, what maintenance looks like long-term, and what to expect from the coating as it settles in.
